The heart consists of four chambers namely, right atrium, left atrium, left ventricle and right ventricle. The right atrium obtains the deoxygenated blood from different parts of the body and pumps into the right ventricle. Similarly, the left atrium obtains the oxygenated blood and pumps down into the left ventricle.
