Summary
The cost of renting a room at a hotel is, say $100.00 per night. For special occasions, such as a wedding or conference, the hotel offers a special discount as follows.
If the number of rooms booked is:
at least 10, the discount is 10%
at least 20, the discount is 20%
at least 30, the discount is 30%
Also if rooms are booked for at least three days, then there is an additional 5% discount.
Instructions
Write a program that prompts the user to enter:
The cost of renting one room
The number of rooms booked
The number of days the rooms are booked
The sales tax (as a percent).
The program outputs:
The cost of renting one room
The discount on each room as a percent
The number of rooms booked
The number of days the rooms are booked
The total cost of the rooms
The sales tax
The total billing amount.
Your program must use appropriate named constants to store special values such as various discounts.
Need help with a python program. A supermarket awards coupons depending on how much a customer spends on groceries. For example, if you spend $50, you will get a coupon worth eight percent of that amount. The following table shows the percent used to calculate the coupon awarded for different amounts spent. Write a program that prompts the user to enter the cost cost of groceries, calculates and displays the coupon percentage and the coupon amount a person can receive based on the groceries purchased. The coupon amount must be displayed with 2 decimal places using an f-string. If the user enters a grocery amount of <= 0, a message should be displayed and the program should end. Do not use the round function.

The program shouldthen compute the state and county sales tax. Assume the state sales tax is 5 percent and thecounty sales tax is 2.5 percent. The program should display the amount of the purchase, thestate sales tax, the county sales tax, the total sales tax, and the total of the sale (which is the sumof the amount of purchase plus the total sales tax). Hint: Use the value 0.025 to represent 2.5 percent, and 0.05 to represent 5 percent.arrow_forwardSummary During winter when it is very cold, typically, everyone would like to know the windchill factor, especially, before going out. Meteorologists use the following formula to compute the windchill factor, W: W = 35.74 + 0.6215 × T - 35.75 × V0.16 + 0.4275 × T × V0.16 where V is the wind speed in miles per hour and T is the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. Instructions Write a program that prompts the user to input the wind speed in miles per hour, and the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. The program then outputs the current temperature and the windchill factor. Your program must contain at least two functions: one to get the user input and the other to determine the windchill factor.arrow_forward
