To explain:
The way in which the electrons are distributed within the electron shell of an atom.
Introduction:
The atoms are smallest particles that have chemical property and they serve as the building block of matter. The entire elements that are found on earth are made of atoms. Atoms are formed by the combination of subatomic particles such as electrons, protons, and neutrons. It has a nucleus which is located at the center of an atom. Protons and neutrons are present inside the nucleus of an atom. Protons are positively charged and are used to determine the type of element. Electrons are negatively charged particles and are present outside of the nucleus.
