Chapter 2, Problem 18RFT
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The movement into the cell is called as endocytosis. The process is active and has three forms. The three forms are phagocytosis, pinocytosis, and receptor-mediated process. The pinocytosis is the process of cell-drinking where liquid is ingested into a cell by the budding of small vesicles from the cell membrane. The phagocytosis is cell eating, where bacteria is ingested to form phagosome. The receptor-mediated endocytosis is the selective movement.
