Introduction: Chromosomes are the compact form of genetic material found in the nucleus. It appears as the thread-like structure under the microscope. After replication, the DNA condenses with protein to form chromosomes. In humans, there are twenty-three pairs of chromosomes in which twenty-two pairs are autosomes and remaining one pair is sex chromosomes.
