Most of the companies are shifting the use of conventional energy to green power that is instead of using coal, natural gas and oil shifted into green powers refers to renewable source of energy and technologies from solar, wind, geo thermal, biogas etc. the use of green power source will decrease the emission of carbon dioxide to the environment. To encourage this practice, the Country U’s environmental protection agency created the voluntary green power partnership (GPP) in 2001 and currently it has 1,500 partners.

As per the GPP the top in 2018 it shows the top 10 companies in the world are more rely on the green power and they consume around 18 billion KWH of green power over the last year.  Companies like A planning to taking the idea of green power to next level and it sends its all data centres with 100% renewable energy and the company long term goal is to rely or depend on 100% green power for all its operations.
