Application architecture:

• Application architecture describes the behavior of the applications that are used in business and concentrate on how the systems communicate with each other and with users.
• It focuses on the data consumed and produced by the applications and not on the internal structure.

Types of application architecture:

There are four different types of application architecture available and they are listed below

• Host-based architecture
• Client-based architecture
• Client-server architecture
• Peer-to-peer architecture

Application architecture for local organization in the future:

A local organization like a college or a university uses “cloud enabled client-server architecture” in the future.

Reasons:
