Introduction:
The ranking of countries is done based on the corruption levels in them. The rankings are given every year on the basis of many factors. These corruption indexes are calculated by the help of expert assessments and opinion surveys.
There are no direct ways to measure corruption. Hence, the corruption index is calculated from different assessments made by different institutions and surveys. The countries ae scored from 100 (very clean) to 0 (Highly Corrupt). If the scores are from 0 – 49, they are more corrupt. If they are scored from 50 – 100, they are less corrupt.
