Modes of operation:
The three modes of operation which can be selected by the key switch of a processor are as follows:
- RUN position mode
- PROG position mode
- REM position mode
RUN position mode:
- To execute ladder
program and activate output devices, the processor is made in RUN mode. - When a processor is in RUN mode, it disables online program editing and also prevents to change the processor mode using programmer interface device.
PROG position mode:
