Introduction:
Enterobacteria and Pasteurellaceae, both belong to the class Gammaproteobacteria. Enterobacteria are the Gram negative bacteria which are mostly found in the intestines of animals and humans; some species being purely pathogenic.
Pasteurella, on the other hand, are the Gram negative anaerobic bacteria that reside in the nasal and oral cavities of animals; passed on to humans via animal bites.
