Methanogen - d. releases methane gas.

Methanogens are the microbes that are capable of producing methane. Major organisms that are involved in the production of the methane in the cows’ gut are Archaea. Archaea are the normal inhabitants (methanogens) of the cattle gut that helps in the digestion of food in stomach.
