Summary Introduction
To analyze:
The effects of aging on the heart.
Introduction:
When people age, the heart tends to enlarge slightly, and develop thicker walls and large chambers. The increase in the size is because of the increase in the size of muscle cells in the heart. The most notable effect on the heart due to aging is the stiffening of the arteries.
