Chapter 20.7, Problem 29BYGO
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The veins are afferent vessels of the cardiovascular system; they carry deoxygenated blood from the organs to the heart. They are also called as capacitance vessels, as they have a flaccid and thin wall. When compared with arteries, they accommodate 64% more volume of blood. The veins have low blood pressure than arteries and have a steady blood flow.

Trace the path of a red blood cell from the left ventricle to a capillary in the right lung. Name the heart chambers, valves, major blood vessels that the cell would pass through (in order) as well as describing the order of vessel types it would pass through in the lungs and body locations (if appropriate). If there is an option as to the path, choose whatever path you prefer.
Trace one possible path of a red blood cell from the fingers to the right atrium.
