To describe:
The basic anatomy of lymph nodes along with its functions and also describe how lymph enters and leaves the lymph node.
Concept introduction:
The lymphatic system is a part of the circulatory system and immune system that have interconnected lymphatic vessels which contain a clear fluid called lymph. Lymphatic system comprises lymphatic capillaries, vessels, ducts, and trunks. The lymphatic capillaries transport lymph to lymphatic vessels which then transfer lymph to lymphatic trunks. The lymph from the lymphatic trunk is drained into largest lymph vessels called lymphatic ducts from where lymph is released into the blood circulation.
