Explanation of Solution

Introduction:

Electrostatic force is the force that is applied on the charges which are at rest. The electrostatic forces are attractive as well as repulsive that depends on the charges the object have. It is also known as Coulomb force. This force acts when the two objects are at distance which is nearly about one-third the diameter of the atomic nucleus.

The same charges will repel each other and the unlike charges will attract each other, like two protons or two electrons will repel because they carry the positive and the negative charges respectively. Coulomb is the unit of electric charge.

The large objects carry thousands of charges, the objects are made up of atoms and atoms have proton and electrons irrespective of it the electrostatic force is zero and the only force left between the objects is gravitational force because the net charge in the large objects is near about zero.

Conclusion:

Electrostatic force is not observed in the objects because the net charge in large objects is near about zero. Thus, the electrostatic force is not observed in the objects.
