Question
Chapter 21, Problem 21.47QP
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation: It should be explained about primary and secondary pollutants.
Concept Introduction:
- Pollutants: The substance present in the environment in harmful concentration and cause pollution, and it will damaging the growth rate of species by interfering with the food chains, affect the health, comfort and property.
- Primary pollutant: Pollutants which are emitted directly from the source and persevere in the form in which they are added to the environment. And they produce secondary pollutant also.
- Secondary pollutant: Pollutants which are formed from the primary pollutants by the chemical interaction with constituents present in the atmosphere.
To explain: about primary pollutant.
