Ehrlichiosis is a bacterial diseases caused by ticks that are responsible for flu like symptoms. The symptoms of ehrlichiosis are visible after 1-2 week after being bitten by infected ticks. Anaplasmosis is a disease caused by the bacterium Anaplasma phagocytophilum transmitted to humans by the bite of an infected tick.
