The features of flatworms in comparison to the protostomes and deuterostomes. Enlist the similarity and dissimilarity among these groups.

Concept Introduction:

Flatworms are included under the clade protostomes. Protostomes included those animals in which mouth arises first from the opening in blastopore. Flatworms are unsegmented and free living parasites. They have bilateral symmetry and contain three germ layers. Flatworms have flattened body shape. Deuterostomes are those in which anus arises from the first opening in blastopore.
