Summary Introduction
The elementary bodies (EB) are the structures involved in the reproduction of Chlamydia. The EBs are held inside an endosome that escapes from fusing with the lysosomes. Then, the EB differentiated into the reticulate body (RB) as well as undergoes binary fission. This process of binary fission continues until the host cell dies.
