Introduction:

Mycotoxicosis is a disease which is caused due to a natural toxin called mycotoxin that is produced by certain fungi such as Aspergillus species and ergot alkaloids produced by the genus Claviceps. Whereas, mycestismus is a specialized form of mycotoxicosis caused due to the ingestion of toxic mashrooms.
