Chapter 22.4, Problem 1MC
Summary Introduction
To differentiate:
Determinate and indeterminate growth.
Concept introduction:
Growth of an organism is a process in which it increases in the area, girth and volume by the addition of new cells and the replacement of old and worn out or injured cells and tissues. Growth in plants is a unique feature which is very different between plants and other living growth. It is generally seen that growth in the plant is more and rapid than other organisms.
