• Consider two PC’s for which a failure occurs during the transmission of data, which can guarantee commit and abort instead of site and link failure.
• Only the coordinator of a transaction can perform commit and abort operations.
• This transaction can happen only on coordinator's decision either directly or indirectly from the site.
• Consider two cases, one for site aborting and other for site committing.
