Introduction:

“Fasciola” is parasite species of genus flatworms or trematodes. They are commonly called as liver flukes and they cause “fascioliasis” disease. The symptoms of fascioliasis are fever, jaundice, stomach infection, and anemia. Fascioliasismainly affects the liver of the host. They spread through contaminated soil, water, consumption of watercress and lettuce.
