Question
Chapter 23, Problem 5WIO
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The nutrients which are absorbed from soil by roots and the nutrients which are absorbed from the atmosphere by leaves.
Concept introduction:
Nutrient uptake is the process by which nutrients from external environment move into a plant. Plants obtain their nutrients from soil and air. Soil provides food, water, and nutrients to plants which are very essential for plant growth and development. Plants also obtain some essential nutrients from the atmosphere by the leaves.
