To discuss:
Normal ranges of urine specific gravity, osmolarity, and pH.
Introduction:
In a day, regular healthy adult pass 1 to 2 liters of urine. When urine excreted out is more than 2 liters, it can lead to polyuria or diuresis. Uptake of some drugs or fluids can also make to pass 20 liters per day. The patients suffering from diabetes also has polyuria called as oliguria. In the medical examination, the urinalysis is the most important analysis since it examines both the chemical and physical properties of the urine.
