Question
Chapter 24, Problem 19RQ
Summary Introduction
To explain: The way in which suspension feeders and carnivores are adapted to their feeding behavior.
Introduction: The fishes approximately comprise around half of 64,000 vertebrate species. They have excellent visual and olfactory senses. They also have a lateral-line system, and this provides sensitivity to vibrations and water currents. These special senses help the fishes to capture the prey. The fishes have complex feeding behavior, and this shapes the fish.
