The female reproductive system is found near the urinary system. Vulva is the external genitalia in females that open towards the vagina. Vagina is a muscular tract that is attached to the cervix. The lower part of the uterus is called cervix, which is more likely to get infected. The uterus extends to the fallopian tubes and the ovaries. Ovaries stimulate the production of ova, estrogen and progesterone that are important for the growth and regulation of reproductive organs, menstrual cycle control, and for the preparation of uterus for pregnancy.
