Chapter 24, Problem 20CRQ
Summary Introduction
Introduction: The nephron has a duct called the conducting duct. The urine, before entering the ureters, is stored in the conducting duct. These ducts have a receptor called vasopressin V2 receptors. The vasopressin hormone binds with the vasopressin V2 receptors and adds water pores on the apical membrane of the conducting cells. The water pores retain water from the urine and make the urine dilute.
