a. Use a formula to express the amount you should charge per ticket as a function of the number of people attending. Be sure to explain the meaning of the letters you choose and the units.
b. Make a graph of the function that gives the amount you should charge per ticket. Include at tendance size up to 1000.

- A school fund-raising group sells chocolate bars to help finance a swimming pool for their physical education program. The group finds that when they set their price at x dollars per bar where 0x5, their total sales revenue in dollars is given by the function Rx=-500x2+3000x. a Evaluate R2 and R4. What do these values represent? b Use a graphing calculator to draw a graph of R. What does the graph tell us about what happens to revenue as the price increases from 0to5 dollars? c What is the maximum revenue, and at what price is it achieved?arrow_forwardHOW DO YOU SEE IT? The graphs labeled L1,L2,L3, and L4 represent four different pricing discounts, where p is the original price (in dollars) and S is the sale price (in dollars). Match each function with its graph.
