Introduction:
G cells are found in the gastric pits of the pyloric part of the stomach. These G (γ-cell) cells are known to secrete the hormone gastrin. The G cells work in conjunction with the parietal cells and the gastric chief cells. These cells are occasionally found in duodenum and pancreas.
