Viruses infect wide variety of species including animals, plants and humans. There are many different infectious species of animals that transmit disease to humans which are transmitted to humans through infected animals. Zoonotic pathogens are those viruses that affect animals and cause diseases in them which could be transmitted to humans by vectors.
