The muscle tissue that consists of long cells called muscle fibers is known as skeletal muscle tissue. The skeletal muscles are attached to the bones and helps in moving the bones of the skeleton. The smooth muscle tissue is composed of spindle-shaped cells, each containing one nucleus. The smooth muscles are located in digestive tract and arteries and helps in slow and involuntary movements.
