The protists belong to the members of kingdom Protista. It is generally made up of all single-celled, or unicellular organisms. Protists can be classified depending on their size, nature, shape, and number of cytoplasmic organelles, nuclear structure, presence of ecto or endoskeleton structures and so on. Amoebas, plasmodium, euglena, algae, and slime molds are examples of protists.
