The nervous system in the vertebrates is divided into two main divisions, central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. The peripheral nervous system’s motor pathway includes autonomic nervous system and somatic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is further divided into parasympathetic nervous system and sympathetic nervous system.
