Introduction:

Metabolic rate is the term which is referred as the amount of energy released in the body per unit time. It is referred as total metabolic rate and basal metabolic rate. The TMR is higher than the BMR because TMR needs higher energy for vital activities than the BMR, which needs less energy in the resting condition.
