Chapter 27, Problem 3MCQ
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The human heart has four-chambers: right atrium, left atrium, right ventricle and left ventricle. The circulation in which oxygen is absorbed by the blood and carbon dioxide is released at the lungs followed by the return of blood to the heart is termed as pulmonary circulation while in the systemic circulation, blood transfers oxygen to complete body and collects carbon dioxide from cells before coming back to the heart. This type of circulation is known as double circulation.
