Summary Introduction
Antimicrobial resistance is referred to as the acquired capability of the microorganism to resist against the effect of the antimicrobial drug to which the microorganism is normally susceptible. A single antimicrobial agent or drug cannot inhibit all microorganisms and some kind of drug resistance is an inherent ability of virtually all microbes. The antimicrobial drug resistance encoding gene is transferred from one microorganism to other by horizontal gene transfer.
