Chapter 27.2, Problem 2AYLO
Summary Introduction
To discuss:
Why the testes is kept cooler than the core body temperature and the mechanism by which it is achieved.
Introduction:
In males, the testes hang out of the abdominal cavity through the scrotum sac. This anatomical feature brings a lot of significance in the sperm production by the testes. Sperm always needs a cooler temperature than the core body temperature. This is achieved naturally by the scrotal sac enclosing testes to hang out from the abdominal cavity through muscular structure. This makes the scrotum and penis and external genital organ in males.
