Ferns commonly inhabit temperate regions such as swamps, stream banks, and marshes. Members of bryophytes are called amphibians of the plant kingdom and are commonly found in damp and humid climates. Algae belong to group thallophyta and contain chlorophyll pigments to perform photosynthesis.
