Chapter 2.8, Problem 2CYP
Summary Introduction
To Analyze:
The mechanism of the storage of the information in DNA.
Introduction:
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the genetic material of all living organisms which is present in the nucleus of cells. All the biochemical and physiological activities of the cell are maintained by the information present in the DNA. It is the four nitrogenous bases present in DNA (adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine) which provide all the information of the cells, and this information is passed from generation to generation.
