Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Degeneration of an organ system is called as senescence. The integumentary system consists of nail, hair, and certain glands. This system provides a structure and support to the body. After the age of 40, the senescence of the integumentary system develops noticeable changes in the body. The hair turns thinner and grayer due to the slowing down of mitosis, dyeing of melanocytes, and the dead hairs are not replaced.
