Chapter 3, Problem 1WWTS
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Cells are regarded as the simplest unit (structural and functional) of life. Cellular membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm are the three major components of a cell. Cellular membrane, which surrounds the entire cell, is composed of phospholipids and proteins. The nucleus is bound by a nuclear membrane, and it possesses the genetic material of the cell. Cytoplasm consists of organelles, cytoskeleton (filaments and tubules), and inclusion bodies.

In osmosis, due to solute concentration differences, the solute will move from a
higher concentration to a lower concentration.
True or False
This is from osmosis in animal cells
When a person becomes dehydrated the amount of water in extracellular fluids such as blood decreases, causing the solute concentration of these fluids to increase. State weather osmosis results in water entering or leaving cells.
