Monthly Payments
The monthly payment on a loan may be calculated by the following formula:
• Rate is the monthly interest rate, which is the annual interest rate divided by 12.
(A 12 percent annual interest would be 1 percent monthly interest.)
• N is the number of payments
• L is the amount of the loan.
Write a
Loan Amount: $ 10000.00
Monthly Interest Rate: 1%
Number of Payment s: 36
Monthly Payment: $ 332 .14
Amount Paid Back: $ 11957 .15
Interest Paid: $ 1957. 15

- (Statistics) This is the formula for the standard normal deviate, z, used in statistical applications: z=(X)/ X is a single value. refers to an average value. refers to a standard deviation. Using this formula, you need to write a program that calculates and displays the value of the standard normal deviate when X=85.3,=80,and=4. a. For this programming problem, how many outputs are required? b. How many inputs does this problem have? c. Determine a formula for converting input items into output items. d. Test the formula written for Exercise 7c, using the data given in the problem.arrow_forward4. During each summer, John and Jessica grow vegetables in their backyard and buy seeds and fertilizer from a local nursery. The nursery carries different types of vegetable fertilizers in various bag sizes. When buying a particular fertilizer, they want to know the price of the fertilizer per pound and the cost of fertilizing per square foot. The following program prompts the user to enter the size of the fertilizer bag, in pounds, the cost of the bag, and the area, in square feet, that can be covered by the bag. The program should output the desired result. However, the program contains logic errors. Find and correct the logic errors so that the program works properly. // Logic errors. #include #include using namespace std; int main() { double costs double area; double bagsize; cout > bagsize; cout > cost; cout > area; cout << endl; cout << "The cost of the fertilizer per pound is: $" << bagsize / cost << endl; cout << "The cost of fertilizing per square foot is: $" << area / cost << endl; return 0; }arrow_forward(Science: calculating energy) Write a program that calculates the energy needed to heat water from an initial temperature to a final temperature. Your program should prompt the user to enter the amount of water in kilograms and the initial and final temperatures of the water. The formula to compute the energy is Q = M * (finalTemperature – initialTemperature) * 4184 where M is the weight of water in kilograms, temperatures are in degrees Celsius, and energy Q is measured in joules.arrow_forward
- (Financial application: calculate future investment value) Write a program**(PYTHON)** that reads in an investment amount, the annual interest rate, and the number of years, and displays the future investment value using the following formula: futureInvestmentValue = investmentAmount * (1 + monthlyInterestRate)^numberOfMonths For example, if you enter the amount 1000, an annual interest rate of 4.25%, and the number of years as 1, the future investment value is 1043.33. Here is a sample run: Enter investment amount: 1000 Enter annual interest rate: 4.25 Enter number of years: 1 Accumulated value is 1043.33arrow_forwardCoin Converter Lab Description Write a program that asks the user to enter an amount of money in the format of dollars and remaining cents. The program should calculate and print the minimum number of coins (quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies) that are equivalent to the given amount.Hint: In order to find the minimum number of coins, first find the maximum number of quarters that fit in the given amount of money, then find the maximum number of dimes that fit in the remaining amount, and so on. File Name coins.py Score There are five tests each worth 2 points For example, an execution should look like this:Please enter the amount of money to convert:# of dollars: 2# of cents: 37The coins are 9 quarters, 1 dimes, 0 nickels and 2 pennies python labsarrow_forwardTime CalculatorWrite a program that asks the user to enter a number of seconds.-There are 60 seconds in a minute. If the number of seconds entered by the user is greater than or equal to 60, the program should display the number of minutes and leftover seconds in that many seconds.-There are 3,600 seconds in an hour. If the number of seconds entered by the user is greater than or equal to 3,600, the program should display the number of hours, minutes, and leftover seconds in that many seconds.-There are 86,400 seconds in a day. If the number of seconds entered by the user is greater than or equal to 86,400, the program should display the number of days, hours, minutes, and leftover seconds in that many seconds.arrow_forward
- Problem: Feed Nibble Monster Till Full Write a program that generates a number in [0, 500] at the beginning -- this corresponds to how hungry the monster is -- and keeps asking the user to feed the monster until that number falls to zero. Each time the user feeds the monster a nibble, hunger decreases by the decimal value of the character (i.e. if the user feeds 'A' hunger decreases by 65). But when the user feeds the monster some character that isn't a nibble, the hunger increases by the decimal value of the character (since puking depletes energy). Use while loop. Sample runs: Notice the loop exits after one iteration, because hunger was very low and one nibble made the monster full: Notice hunger increasing after non-nibble (pink highlight): Notice that the program just keeps going when the user feeds the monster only non-nibbles. Do you think the program will keep running forever if the user never gives the monster nibbles?arrow_forwardPersonal BestWrite a program that asks for the name of a pole vaulter and the dates and vaultheights (in meters) of the athlete’s three best vaults. It should then report, in order ofheight (best first), the date on which each vault was made and its height.Input Validation: Only accept values between 2.0 and 5.0 for the heights.arrow_forward(Calculating Credit Limits) Collecting money becomes increasingly difficult during periods of recession, so companies may tighten their credit limits to prevent their accounts receivable(money owed to them) from becoming too large. In response to a prolonged recession, one companyhas cut its customers’ credit limits in half. Thus, if a particular customer had a credit limit of $2000,it’s now $1000. If a customer had a credit limit of $5000, it’s now $2500. Write a program thatanalyzes the credit status of three customers of this company. For each customer you’re given:a) The customer’s account number.b) The customer’s credit limit before the recession.c) The customer’s current balance (i.e., the amount the customer owes the company).Your program should calculate and print the new credit limit for each customer and shoulddetermine (and print) which customers have current balances that exceed their new credit limits.arrow_forward
- Assuming there are no deposits other than the original investment, the balance in a saving account after one year may be calculated as Amount=Principal * (1+ Rate / T)T principal -balance in the saving account, Rate -the interest rate, T - number of times the interest is compounded during a year. Write a program that asks for : the principal, the interest rate, and the number of times the interest is compounded. It should display a report similar to Interest Rate: 4.25% Times Compounded: 12 Principal: $ 1000.00 Interest: $ 43.34 Amount in Savings: $ 1043.34arrow_forwardParking Charges) A parking garage charges a $2.00 minimum fee to park for up to threehours and an additional $0.50 per hour for each hour or part thereof over three hours. The maximumcharge for any given 24-hour period is $10.00. Assume that no car parks for longer than 24 hoursat a time. Write a program that will calculate and print the parking charges for each of three customers who parked their cars in this garage yesterday. You should enter the hours parked for eachcustomer. Your program should print the results in a tabular format, and should calculate and printthe total of yesterday's receipts. The program should use the function calculateCharges to determine the charge for each customer. Your outputs should appear in the following format:Car Hours Charge1 1.5 2.002 4.0 2.503 24.0 10.00TOTAL 29.5 14.50arrow_forwardSports exercise advisor algorithm. In this algorithm you will start out with a temperature value in Celsius, so you do not need to ask the user for it. First, convert the temperature to Fahrenheit.
