Introduction: Ovulatory processes refer to a period of elevated hormones during the menstrual cycle. These processes are sensitive to energy balance and can be interrupted by weight loss, low level of body fat, and negative caloric balance. Negative energy balance in the body can create a problem in ovulatory processes.
