To predict:

The gas composition of the breath that a track athlete who runs 100 meters while holding his breath exhales while he crosses the finish line and to compare it with the gas composition of a normally exhaled breath.

Concept introduction:

The cellular respiration is the process in which the mitochondria break down the food molecules to produce ATP molecules. The cellular respiration that requires oxygen is known as aerobic respiration. There are three stages of cellular respiration that are glycolysis, Krebs cycle and electron transport chain.
