Introduction: Endoplasmic reticulum is mainly classified into smooth endoplasmic reticulum and rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER). Smooth endoplasmic reticulum is a network of membranous sacs and tubes, but do not have attached ribosomes. RER have attached ribosomes.
