Disagreements between the sales and operations departments is a common scenario within any manufacturing organization. The operations department may not have the capacity to produce goods to meet the required demand levels. On the other hand, the sales department may find it challenging to sell the goods produced due to low levels of demand. Either of the above shall result in clashes between the two departments.
