Introduction: Fungi are a group of living organisms that are classified in their own kingdom. Fungi are eukaryotes and they have a complex cellular organization. Fungal cells contain a membrane-bound nucleus as eukaryotes where the DNA is wrapped around histone proteins. The fungal cells also consist of a complex system of internal membranes including Golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria.
