Chapter 32.2, Problem 1CC
Summary Introduction

To explain:

Whether cells differ in their response to a hormone if they have the same receptor for that hormone.

Introduction:

The organs of endocrine system release chemical signal as hormones. A hormone is released by the organ system when it receives an internal stimulus. The released hormone then reaches the target site by travelling through the cardiovascular system. Then the target organ will respond to this signal. The endocrine system is responsible for the regulation of body metabolism and growth.
