Summary Introduction
To write: One-sentence summary of the discovery made by the Darwins, Boyle-Jensen, and Went. Also, credit the person who discovered the auxin in real sense.
Concept introduction: The first plant hormone was discovered by a series of experiments carried out by Darwin, Boyle-Jensen and Went on the phototropism. Charles Darwin was the first to start the experiment on phototropism, that was succeeded by Boyle-Jensen and ultimately by Frits Went. The Frits Went finally extracted the plant hormone responsible for phototropism.
